Patio over the Water! Our patio offers the perfect setting to try our EATS & BEERS. We feature a variety of local Craft Breweries. Live Music featured EVERY WEEKEND throughout the Summer!

Our restaurant/pub is 100% over the water. This building belonged to my Great-Grandfather, a fish merchant, George C. Butt. It took us 6 years to fully restore the old building. We opened our doors to the travelling public summer of 2012. We are located on the waterfront of historic Woody Point.

We are becoming known as the waterfront pub. For us, the Merchant is a place to meet new people, indulge in Eats & Drinks, with a standard of service that will leave you feeling satisfied and glad you came!

Whales are often spotted frolicking in the Bay.
